Metal Prints

Blown away by the quality of my black and white image that was printed on aluminum. Ben and his staff was able to accurately capture the shades of gray, black and white in my image. Other important service that I was pleased with included a image preview service so they can determine how well it will display on aluminum, packaging was outstanding, timely delivery in time for a gallery display, the hanging apparatus on the back was also perfect and an unexpected pair of gloves inside the package for use to handle the final product. Only one request.....add a luster or satin option for those of us that want something between gloss and matte. One last note...my aluminum print sold during the reception at the gallery.....very happy.

Excellent. With Metal Mouth Prints I finally have the Aluminium Print I envisioned and created. Not only do they Print the image true to color they actually take the time care to every detail. I am impressed. I am especially impressed with my black and white prints. The contrast and color is spot on and without An awful greenish undertone typical in metal printing. Excellent work, care and craftmenship.

Print quality is outstanding. Turnaround time was a bit longer than I expected, but well worth the wait. I had two prints made. One print was perfect, one had what appeared to be a small amount of some kind of adhesive on the print surface. I sent an email to the company, and the OWNER called (not emailed) to discuss the problem. I was very concerned about damaging the print surface if I tried to remove the adhesive. I was told acetone could be used to remove the adhesive. If you're not familiar with solvents, acetone is a very aggressive product. I was reluctant to try acetone and chose to start with a dilute solution of isopropyl and water. Didn't work. Tried strait isopropyl. Picked up adhesive, but redistributed residue over a somewhat larger area. My next step before acetone was trichloroethylene. This worked perfectly. The takeaway here is just how durable and robust this print surface is. After thinking about this a bit, I suspect the adhesive came from the mounting of the Gatorboard to the back of the print. Summary: loved the prints, dealing with the adhesive was an eye opening learning experience (the good kind). I'll be using Metal Mouth again. The personal attention from the owner was unexpected. Kudos to his commitment to his customers.

I was dissatisfied that it took over 4 weeks to receive my prints. Also, one print was made in portrait position when I'm sure I did landscape.

The metal contrast is nice but the image isnÕt entirely in focus, which is not an issue with the original file. It also took several weeks to arrive.

I had a commissioned art piece sent in to be printed, and I had particularly chosen this place to get it printed because I wanted something that would really show off the depth of vibrancy of the art and colors and this print is amazing for just that. I love it and am absolutely pleased with this print!

Ordered 5 metal prints, the largest being 24x32: all were excellent quality. There was one order problem (qty confusion for one print): Ben has offered to fix gratis, which is great!
